Coblentz, Patch, Duffy and Bass LLP.
San Francisco, California
In 2003 DFm was selected by architects Aston Pereira & Associates to manufacture furniture for the anchor tenant in San Francisco’s landmark Ferry Building – Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP.
The material selection included Sycamore and Ash veneers, brushed steel and granite for private offices, administrative stations, conference tables, conference credenzas and the reception desk. DFm supplied Sycamore panels to the millwork contractor and laminated Ash veneer on the private office doors to maintain and consistent project material palette.
Private Offices evolved from DFm’s logic product line with custom design elements to express the designer’s vision. Administrative Stations demonstrate DFm’s fine woodworking craftsmanship with expert detailing built exactly to the designed specifications. Reconfigurable mobile conference tables feature European Sycamore veneer with inset stone and metal and a continuous contrasting wood inlay at the perimeter edge.
The designers utilized DFm’s manufacturing capabilities in wood, metal and stone as well as their ability to be a single source for material procurement to insure the project’s design integrity and refined success. |
